Glenna Faye Boyd Andrews was born on December 4th, 1937, in Sherman, TX to father James Lee Boyd, and mother Virginia Lee Henderson. Glenna was educated in the Sherman Public School District and worked for Texas Instruments as an assembler. She accepted her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a long-time member of Grand Avenue Church of Christ in Sherman.
On November 14, 1953, Glenna married Mr. Samuel Goodson Andrews in Sherman TX, and to this union they had 6 wonderful children.
On Friday, July 28th, 2023, Glenna Faye entered eternal rest. She is preceded in death by Mr. Samuel Andrews, parents; James Boyd (Katherine), Virginia Henderson (Leonard), children; Earl Wayne Andrews (Katherine), Janet Faye Andrews, Don Carlos Andrews, Sandra Gail Madumere, siblings; Vera Polk & Leonard Stone, 1 grandchild, and 4 great-grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memories; children, Rena Jean Briscoe (Michael), Lynn Goodson Andrews (Mamie), Siblings; Larry Boyd (Willie), Sharon Boyd, Michael Boyd (Rhonda), Donna K. Boyd, Stephanie Boyd, Ann Hardy, Martha Ray Stone, Sharilyn Faye Stone (Lawrence), Marilyn Kaye Stone, Calvin Stone, Nathaniel Stone, Raymond Stone (Beverly); grandchildren, Trina Briscoe Brown (Chaz), Christopher Briscoe (Christina), Tracy Briscoe Edwards (Marcus), Chistina Andrews Rooks, Brandon Lynn Andrews (Michele), Erin Andrews Lewis (Calvin), Bradley Lawrence Andrews (Stacy), Kendra Andrews Murphy (John), Stanley Chinny Madumere, Lyn-Carlos Wayne Madumere, John Gardner, Vanesha Cheryl Lewis, Fred Lewis, 31 great grandchildren, and 8 great- great -grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
