Irene W. Rossi

Irene Wilczek Rossi, 87, of Rochester, NY, passed away October 13, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 21, 1936, in Lockport, NY, the cherished daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Wilczek, and sister to the late John and Stanley Wilczek.
Irene dedicated her life to her husband and children. As a young woman she was active in the Catholic church and graduated from beauty school. After moving to Rochester, along with raising her family, she managed the family business, North Greece Drugs, dabbled in golf, loved flowers, enjoyed times spent with friends at Ridgemont Country Club, and always cheered for the Buffalo Bills. Irene was known for serving a gourmet meal on a perfectly set table, her love for all things Polish, a cup of coffee at any time of the day, and always for a "Na-Zdorovie "with a glass of cheer. To know Irene truly was to love her.
She is survived by her husband, Carmen, her sons, David (Michele), John (Lorraine Calabrese), daughters, Andrea, and Annette Rossi Mannion (Mark), grandchildren Nina (Steve), Nicholas, and Grace, a large extended family, caretakers that became family, especially Mourine, and many friends that adored her.
Friends and family may call 4p-7p, Thursday, October 19th at Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Road. Mass 10 am Friday, October 20th at St. Stanislaus Church. Entombment Riverside Cemetery.
