James Trapp Obituary
James “Jim” Lewis Trapp, age 68, a resident of Minocqua, WI, passed away at his home on Monday, October 9, 2023. He was born May 6, 1955, to Edward Sr. and Harriette Trapp in Woodruff, WI. Jim married the love of his life Deborah “Debbie” Trapp NEE Novotny on September 2, 1977. Jim was on the Trinity Church Council, and he took care of the building and grounds as well. He loved hunting, fishing (ocean & lake), and entertaining and grilling at the Tiki Bar. Jim was preceded in death by his parents: Edward Sr. and Harriette Trapp. He is survived by his wife: Debbie; children: Scott, Jamie, Brandon, Josh, and David; grandson: Nicholas; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ed, Jr., Jannie (Leisses), Jack, Mark, Richard, and Robert; further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minocqua, WI. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
