A visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Greater Holy Cross Missionary Baptist Church, 1555 N. W. 93rd Terrace, Miami, FL 33147. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at 93rd Street Community Baptist Church, 2330 N. W. 93rd Street, Miami, FL 33147.

I was his supervisor at ALF on San Jose. When we was having bad days at work, he always lifted my spirit. One of us would run by the other and start shouting and praising God. He was truly a good person. I didn´t ever expect to have this experience with him. He had a lot of personal struggles but he always managed to make other people days better. I pray that His soul has found peace. He is definitely missed.

Jay was an excellent co worker. This broke my heart. He was fun to work with and very down to earth. I was his supervisor and had I known I would have did what I could to help him. Never know what a person going through. I pray his soul has found rest. Rest on my friend

Jay was one of first to welcome me in memory care at starling. He was so good with our residents and genuinely enjoyed spending time with them. He loved to dance with them and participate during musical/exercise activities. Always laughing and had a wonderful smile. His presence is missed here at starling for sure. My heart aches for his family and for him. Way too young to go. I wish I had checked in with him more often. Prayers to Javari, his wife and his babies. This is a hard loss on them all. Please god give them all the support they need right now.

Javari and I grew up at Taylor's Daycare. We were like family and everytime he'd come around he'd instantly light up the room. I'll miss the moments we shared whenever he came to visit NC, he was the sweetest and funniest person to be around.

When I first started working at starling... javari was nice and kind. When he told me he was from miami and grow up in little Haiti we click right away. He was so funny and easy to get along with. Your presence will be missed.
