In Loving Memory of Wilfredo Maldonado Sr.
June 19, 1942 – October 21, 2025
It is with great love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Wilfredo Maldonado Sr., who left this world peacefully on October 21, 2025. Wilfredo was born on June 19, 1942, in Manatí, Puerto Rico, to his devoted parents Obdulio and Carmen Maldonado
A man of integrity, warmth, and deep compassion, Wilfredo dedicated his life to his family and to those he loved. His laughter, wisdom, and strength touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a steady presence - a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose love knew no limits.
He was a pillar of strength and kindness, known for his warm heart, his hard work, and his love of laughter and music that brightened every gathering.
Wilfredo is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Maldonado, and his cherished children: Magalit Maldonado, Wilfredo Maldonado Jr., Evelyn Maldonado, Carmen Breidenback, Linda Zambrano, Melissa Breidenback, Catherine Encarnacion, William Sims, and Jamel Breidenback.
He was preceded in death by his dear daughter, Marylyn Maldonado, whose memory he carried close to his heart.
Wilfredo's legacy continues through his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, who will always remember his gentle spirit, his storytelling, and the pride he took in his family's accomplishments. His love and guidance will live on in each of them.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and his enduring love - a true patriarch whose life was filled with purpose and grace.
"Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed, and very dear."
