Jean Witucki, 80, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 4:53 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, in her home. Jean was born on July 3, 1942 in South Bend, Indiana to Charles and Helena (Manczynski) Scussel. On October 29, 1961, in Christ the King Church, she married Jack R. Witucki, who preceded her in death on June 26, 2020. She was also preceded in death by her, grandson, Austin Merrill and her sister, Janice Rozwarski. Jean is survived by her three daughters, Theresa (David) Wysong of Bremen, Indiana, Christine (Michael) Kolisek of Fishers, Indiana and Kimberle (Scott) Izdepski of South Bend, Indiana; four grandchildren, Angela (Cody) Davis, Ross John (Lauren) Eadie, Kelsie (Drew) Wood, Madi King; seven great-grandchildren, James and Nolan Davis, Carson and Cooper Eadie, Mia and Colton Wood and Aniyah King; and her brother, Eddie (Carol) Scussel of Albuquerque, New Mexico. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Christ the King Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the church, where a rosary will be prayed at 12:00 p.m. Jean graduated from John Adams High School in 1960. She enjoyed tennis with her South Bend Racket Club Ladies. Jean's family requests Masses to be said for Jean. The family wishes to thank Crystal Hoover her caregiver and ProMedica Hospice.
