Jimmie "Jim" L. Kidd of Crestwood, Kentucky, son of the late Willie Kidd and Blanche Judd Kidd Curry, was born on Wednesday, February 20, 1946 in Green County and passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 at his home. He was 78 years, 4 months, and 25 days of age.
He was a self-employed boarding and caring for horses. He loved raising tomatoes, gardening and spending time meeting and greeting people.
Survivors include two sons: Billie Kidd of Michigan, and Erik Kidd of Indiana; two grandchildren: Sophia Kidd and Abbie Kidd of Kokomo; two brothers and two sisters: Tommy Kidd of the Pierce Community, James J. Curry of Brownsville, Linda Bohannon and husband, Chester of Indiana, and Sheila Curry of Cave City; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Kidd was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter: Heather Lacefield; brother: Willie Edward Kidd; and a half-sister: Margaret Kidd.

The funeral services for Jimmie Kidd will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Central Time, Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Bro. Tom Downey Officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Monday until time of the funeral service.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
