Joanne Jones Obituary

Joanne was a longtime member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church and retired from Peninsula Orthopedics Association in Salisbury.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Delise Jones Savage, a half-brother, David Howard Bennett, four grandchildren, Jonathan Savage (Alysse), Otis Waters, Gerald Savage, Jr., and Aliyah Savage, three great-grandchildren, Jonathan Savage, II, Zoee Delise Waters, and Journey Marie Savage, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Jones, stepfather, Elbert Bailey, stepmother, Isabelle Bennett, sisters, Shirley Milligan and Rebecca Adshead, and a great-grandson, Julian Avery Savage.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:00AM, at Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Salisbury. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Letters of condolence can be sent to the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com. Arrangements are in the care of The Burbage Funeral Home.
