Barbara is survived by her 5 children: Michael (Nichole), Daniel (Pamela), Gerald (Tracy), James (Dawn) and Kathleen; along with her 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Born in Yonkers, NY, Barbara was a graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, Yonkers where she served as captain of her volleyball team. Prior to starting her family, she attended St. John's Episcopal Hospital School of Nursing in Brooklyn, where she served as president of the Student Council.
A devoted wife and mother, Barbara and her late husband Jerry were very active in Ocean Pines – golfing, bowling, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
She passed away peacefully surrounded by family.
Funeral Services and Burial will be private in the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery alongside Jerry.
