Jonathon Robert Lowe, 41, of Cartersville, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2023, at his residence.
Jonathon was born in Cartersville, GA, November 9, 1981, to Doris Cline Lowe and the late Franklin Terry Lowe. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey and Madall Cline and Frank and Lily Lowe; uncles, Larry Jacobs and Lonnie Bohannon; aunt, Patsy Holcomb; and cousin, Gary Crowe. He was of the Christian faith. He loved his family more than anything, especially his niece, nephews, and special great-niece. Jonathon enjoyed going fishing, taking family vacations, and loved animals. He had a big heart and never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Lowe; sister, Deborah Lowe; niece and nephews, Rebecca McQueen, Marcel McQueen, JR., and David McQueen; aunts, Frances Jacobs and Sarah Bohannon; special great-niece, Brynlee Raine McQueen; Uncle, Bud Holcomb; cousins, Lisa Greenway (Ben), Amanda Anglin (Tim), Jennifer Crowe, Tina Wilkerson, Chris Jacobs, Tony Cline, Caroline Bohannon, Mike Holcomb, Kathy Holcomb, Alison Holcomb Sanders (Henry) and Gabriel Quinton Crowe.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverend John Goltz officiating. Interment will follow in the McQueen Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Marcel McQueen, JR., David McQueen, Marcel McQueen, SR., Chris Jacobs, Tony Cline, and Mark Smith.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Jonathon Robert Lowe.
