Martha Roberson Hubbard, age 80, of Kingston passed peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, surrounded by her immediate family.

Martha was born in Cobb County, Georgia, November 27, 1944, to the late Reverend Lester Landrum Roberson and Edith Eunelia Hames Roberson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, John L. Roberson and George Roberson and sister, Mary Elizabeth Roberson Miller.

She is survived by her companion, John Jolly; daughters and families, Sondra Brownfield (Donald) and her children, Lauren Brownfield, Katelyn Powell (Stephen) and great-granddaughter, Elliana Powell, and D.J. Brownfield, Cyndie Hill (Preston) and her son, Caleb Hubbard; sister, Patricia Roberson Strickland (Jerry) and brother, Bennit Roberson (Lois); special nieces, Vicki Strickland-Warner and Bronwyn Warner; and several nieces and nephews.

Martha was a remarkable woman who could do anything she put her mind to. She was a retired bookkeeper from Layton Glass and a licensed cosmetologist. Martha built most of her home along with various pieces of furniture, showcasing her incredible skills and determination. As a master gardener and herbalist, she had a deep connection with nature. An avid reader, she loved traveling and, along with her companion John, almost visited all 50 states. Martha enjoyed volunteering with the Kingston Woman's History Club and served as the past secretary and treasurer of the Contemporary Historical Vehicle Association (CHVA). She was a loving and caring person who touched the lives of many.
