I just had to share this with everyone because anyone who knew our little Karl will totally understand and appreciate it. The year our youngest son Jason got married many years ago after all the events of the day were coming to an end we all were starving and we decided to go to the Denny's out by Petes in Pullman. It was around 1:00 am so there was only one cook and one waitress. Since there was about ten of us and there were more people coming in Little Karl took it upon himself to jump over the counter and headed back into the kitchen to help the cook. He not only cooked everyone's meal that night he served them as well. I was so darn proud of my grandson that night but that just goes to show what a great nice caring guy he really was. He never met a stranger. RIP my son!!!! Granny loves you with all her heart. P. S. Aunt Rae and I know that was you last night turning the ceiling fan in the bedroom last night.

We had the privilege to watch Karl grow up with our kids. It saddens me to know that Faye and Sean will be missing a great close friend, nearly a brother. Karl was always a bright shining light in their lives and so many others. Reading the obituary and the entries in the guest book made me laugh and cry. He will be greatly missed. My sympathies to all of his family members.

My heart breaks for Addyson! Although I did not have the opportunity to meet her Dad I know he had to be a great man, son, brother, father & friend to many. To my cousin Nikki know that I'm a phone call away if you need anything! You have been through much this year. Stay strong for Addy @ let her know that her Daddy will always be her angel watching her from heaven! May God give you strength, love & peace. Cherish the memories that are forever imprinted in your hearts! Our deepest sympathies to all of you.

When our little Karl was five yrs old sitting on my lap he put his tiny hands on my face looked me in the eyes and said "GRANNY" I love you and will always take care you I'm your Big Boy! When you get to old to drive I promise you I will come where ever you are and I will drive you where ever you need to go. A year ago he called me to check on me and I asked him if he remembered what he had promised me when he was just five years old! Without hesitation He told me exactly word for word what he had promised me over twenty years ago. He never forgot and he never broke a promise. You could not ask for a better grandson than our little Karl. Our hearts are heavy with grief with our loss but we know that Karl is in heaven watching over us now and always will be. There is one more Angel in Heaven today. We love and miss you Son! RIP until we meet again in a better place and time. Granny and Grandpa!

My heart aches for your family. What an incredible man you came to be. So many many memories from when we were little ones all the way to adulthood. You and your infectious smile and ability to light up a room will never be forgotten.

To the family, may you find comfort from friends, family and from Almighty God. His Word encourages us at Psalm 62:8 to "trust in Him at all times ; pour out our hearts before him because he is acrefuge for you".

One of my favorite memories of Karl was when he attended my Halloween party dressed as Ricky Bobby. He was so much fun and had such an infectious laugh, he lit up the room. For years to come he would see me and yell "Shake" and I would respond "and bake!" He had such a great sense of humor and always knew how to lighten things up. His energy will be missed by so many. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones.

The world is a lonelier place since you went away, my friend. There is a dull ache in the souls of the people who loved you. I will always remember you and you'll always be "my dude"... Rest easy, buddy. All in!
