Karla was truly a pure soul. She was generous beyond words. She was a friend to everyone that she met. Her infectious smile and laughter were one of the reasons why we made it through some of the toughest moments in Nursing school. To know Karla was to love her. Although, I'm deeply saddened at her passing; she will forever remain in my heart. I offer my most heart felt condolences.

Nursing is a calling, a lifestyle, a way of living. Wesley College Nursing Faculty honor our colleague Karla Ratliff Britt. Karla is remembered by the difference she made during her career as a nurse by stepping into people's lives, by special moments. Karla, we honor you and plant a tree to symbolize our honor and appreciation for being our nurse colleague.
