Bette Jane Jensen-Roberts, 79, of Bordentown, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Serenity Hospice Care, Hamilton, NJ.
Born in Barnegat, NJ, Bette resided in Yardville, NJ for 16 years, before spending the last 40 years in Bordentown, NJ. A graduate of Princeton High School, she worked many years as an Executive Administrative Assistant for NJ Principals and Supervisors in Jamesburg, NJ. She was a very active member at the First Baptist Church in Bordentown, where she was a member of the Diaconate, the Woman's Group, and Motel Meals which met every Friday. Bette loved the ocean, sunshine and her summer trips to Long Beach Island, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and her girl's days with her daughter-in-law Terri Lynn.
Daughter of the late Howard and Lillian Grant; wife of the late, Bruce Jensen and Charles Roberts; mother of the late Barry Jensen; sister of the late Lois McIntyre; she is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Bryan Jensen and Terri Lynn Harper-Jensen; her loving companion, John Porcellana; and her granddaughter, Jade Harper of Lockwood, Montana.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10AM to 12PM, at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Avenue, Bordentown, NJ. A Memorial Service will follow at 12PM, at the funeral home.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
