Kathleen Ann was born on February 1, 1946, in Alexandria, Minnesota the daughter of George and Betty (Sliper) Walberg. During her childhood the family moved to several different places in Minnesota due to her father's work. Kathleen graduated from Alexandria High School and after graduation worked for Knute Nelson as a Nursing Assistant. After working for Knute for several years Kathleen and her family moved to Walker where she worked as a nursing assistant.
In 1997, Kathleen moved back to Alexandria to take care of her parents. During this time she worked for Tom Thumb and Eldens as a cashier. Kathleen enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.
Kathleen died on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Bethany Home. She is survived by three children: Larry (Amy) Randall, Wanda (Dustin) DeFoe, Julie Randall; two step sons Kevin Randall, Darrell Randall; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, brother Alan (Jean) Walberg, sister Jean (Al) Brown, and sister Joyce Jern.
She was preceded in death by her son, Rick, stillborn son Greg, her parents, George and Betty Walberg and brother William (Bill) Walberg.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home.
