Kathryn Ann Hegle, a vibrant spirit known for her strength, laughter, and playfulness, was born on October 26, 1965, in La Crescenta, California. She departed this world on October 20, 2025, in Flagstaff, Arizona, leaving behind cherished memories and the warmth of her infectious joy.
From an early age, Kathryn was a beacon of light, bringing laughter and fun to those around her with her outspoken personality. Her unwavering positivity and resilience touched the lives of many, reminding us all to embrace life with enthusiasm and a smile.
Kathryn dedicated her life to her work in housekeeping, where she approached each task with care and attention, serving others with a loving heart. She is survived by her lifelong partner Greg Haight, her beloved son, William Haight; and her sister, Jeannie Umana. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Hegle; her mother, Phyllis Thomson and her brother, Karl Hegle. Her family will forever carry her spirit in their hearts, drawing strength from the memories of her vivacious life.
A celebration of Kathryn's life will be held in honor of her joyous spirit and the impact she made on so many. Details of the service will be announced at a later time, inviting family and friends to come together to share memories, laughter, and the love that Kathryn so effortlessly provided. Her remains will be cremated and solidified into beautiful stones, where she will be able to be with all the people and places who warmed her heart throughout her life.
As we celebrate Kathryn's life, let us remember the vibrant moments shared, the laughter that echoed, and the love that she freely gave. Her legacy will live on through the memories we hold dear.
