EUNICE~ It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Kenneth Austin Landry announces his passing in the comfort of his home with loving family by his side at the age of 74. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Hampton Davis, Celebrant.
Kenneth known to many as "Kenny" was born on August 21, 1948 in Lafayette to Austin and Jacqueline Sibille Landry. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. Kenny was a car salesperson who loved horses, hunting and spending time with his family. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Kenny's memory will live on in all who loved him, especially his two children, Kindy L. Devillier and husband, Blaine and Kal Landry and wife, Dana all of Eunice along with his six grandchildren, Austin Fontenot, Joshua Landry, Justin Landry, John Austin Landry, Jackson Landry, Braxton Landry, Christopher Prudhomme, Raven Devillier Lavergne and husband, Dustin and Randi Kay Devillier Laparouse and husband, Philip. He also leaves his brother, Michael Landry and wife, Janice of Lafayette, former wife and friend, Karleen Landry of Eunice and multiple great grands, nieces and nephews as well as dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Kelly Jo Landry.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, March 20 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Tuesday, March 21 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday with by Father Nick Ware.
