Kevin B. Burk

Kevin B. Burk, age 70 of Howell, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born July 2, 1952 in Detroit, the son of Harley and June (Finch) Burk. He is survived by his wife Wei Hong (Sun) Burk. Father of Natalie (Jamie) Starkey, Brandon (Gloria) Burk, Erin (Ethan) Roy, Ming Ting (Zhou) and Ryan (Christina) Burk. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and his sisters Karen Burk and Denise (Craig) Dobias. He was preceded by his brother Dan Burk. Kevin was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He was a hard worker who recently retired after 45 years, employed as an engineer for General Motors. He was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed coming home from work, putting on his overalls, mowing his yard with his John Deere tractor, tending his garden and doing some occasional fishing. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 20, at 3:00 PM, from Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, MacDonald's Chapel of Howell. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, prior to the services. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Howell.
