Kimberly Wells, 46, of Braggadocio, Missouri, died on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at her residence.
Born Monday, July 3, 1978, in Kansas City, Kansas.
Kimberly earned her master's degree in education and dedicated her career to shaping young minds as a teacher at Charleston Elementary and Caruthersville Elementary Schools. She was known for her passion for teaching and the deep care she showed each of her students. Her classroom was a place of encouragement, learning, and laughter, and her influence will live on in the many lives she touched.
Beyond the classroom, Kimberly was a passionate advocate for animals and served faithfully as a board member of the Caruthersville Humane Society. Her tireless commitment to animal welfare was a reflection of her generous and loving spirit.
She was a faithful member of Caruthersville First Pentecostal Church of God.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Wells will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday August 16, 2025, at Caruthersville First Pentecostal Church of God, located at 222 County Road 351 in Caruthersville, Missouri.
Cremation services for Mrs. Wells are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Shawn Wells of Braggadocio, Missouri; one sister, Christina Dell (Chris) of Brasley, Missouri; her biological mother, Wanda Duncan Rickman of Kansas City, Kansas; a host of nieces and nephews and extended family members who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her biological father, Danny Ray Gray, her adoptive parents, Eddie and Lavanie Duncan and her brother, Steven Gray.
The family ask that memorial contributions be directed to the Caruthersville Human Society, 500 East Industrial Drive, Caruthersville, Missouri 63830
