Linda M. Engle of Hamburg, 75, a woman whose vibrant spirit and unwavering love touched the lives of all who had the honor of knowing her. She passed away on January 26, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and joy. Linda was born on March 1, 1948, in Reading, Pennsylvania to Steve Bickel and Mary (Sohn) Reitenauer.

From an early age, Linda embraced life with a sense of adventure and curiosity. As she grew older, she discovered her passion for playing bingo, a game that brought her great joy and camaraderie. Linda also found delight in traveling to carnivals. One of her fondest interests was attending Jeff Krick Sr. and Jr. Elvis Tribute Concerts.

However, Linda's proudest accomplishments were centered around her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love knew no bounds, and she cherished each precious memory shared with them.

Linda's fifty-three years of marriage to her loving husband Adam J. Engle were filled with deep devotion and unwavering support for one another. Their love was an inspiration to all who witnessed it, a testament to the power of a strong partnership.

In addition to her husband Adam, Linda is survived by her children: Randy, Jamie, Angie Wagner, Sally Miller, Christina Ebbert and husband Cory Ebbert, and Jeannette Engle. Each child holds treasured memories in their hearts and will forever be grateful for the love their mother bestowed upon them.

Linda is also survived by her sisters Virginia Levengood and husband Warren Levengood and Patricia Valentine and husband Donald Valentine. They shared a bond that transcended time and distance—an unbreakable sisterhood that brought comfort and strength.

The love Linda had for her family extended even further, as she leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their lives were forever brightened by her presence and her love will be carried in their hearts always.

As we say our final goodbyes to Linda, it is important to remember the loved ones who arrived before her. She was predeceased by her parents, Steve Bickel and Mary (Sohn) Reitenauer, as well as her stepmother Carrie Bickel and stepfather Oscar Reitenauer. Linda was also preceded in death by her siblings, Dolly McKale, Eddie Bickel, and Rocky Reitenauer. Though they are no longer with us in physical form, their memories will forever live on.

As we gather to honor her memory, family and friends may attend a Funeral Service on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home in Temple, at 11 AM.

A viewing will be held on Friday morning in the funeral home from 10 AM until 11 AM.

Burial will follow the service in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
