With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linda J. Ray (née McTague), who left this world on June 1, 2025, at the age of 72, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Linda embraced life with energy, curiosity, and a fearless spirit. Whether she was skydiving or living aboard a sailboat for several years, she was never afraid to chase adventure. Her presence was unmistakable — she lit up every room she entered with her vibrant style and unmistakable charm. Among her many talents, she was known for making the best fudge, a recipe her family will now lovingly attempt to recreate in her honor.
She was the beloved daughter of George McTague and the late Ada M. McTague (née Lawyer), and the cherished wife of Keith Ray, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage.
Linda's legacy lives on through her six children: Jennifer Campione-Murray (Benjamin), Sheillagh Campione, Jay Campione (Emily), Karen Hulett (Chris), Scott Hulett, and Alexander Hulett (Lee); her 14 grandchildren — one of whom, Mikey Lind, predeceased her — and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Susan Martin and Thomas McTague, and is reunited in spirit with her late brother, Michael McTague.
Linda will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
