Lois Jean Anderson passed away peacefully on September 17, 2023, in Lehi, Utah. Lois was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska on February 7, 1934, to Warren and Carrie Straughn.
Lois married Ralph Anderson on November 8, 1952, and together they had two children, Carolyn and Danny. Throughout her career, she worked as a receptionist for two doctors' offices. She found joy and fulfillment in the work, knowing that she was able to help people get the care they needed.
After Lois and Ralph retired, they moved to La Verkin, Utah, where they became involved with the senior citizens for over 10 years. They also volunteered for the Lutheran church which allowed them to travel all over the country. Lois was very proud of the research and genealogy work she did to become a Daughter of the American Revolution. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed that very much.
The family would like to thank Abbington Manor for providing exceptional care, support, and comfort during Lois's last years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 12:00 PM in the American Fork Cemetery located at 26 West 600 North, American Fork, UT.
