Lucy L. Cota, aged 72, resident of Denver, Colorado suddenly passed away in her home in the early hours of September 26th, 2024.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Primitivo Cota, daughter Nancy Montanez, two sons Mark Lujan and Joseph Cota, and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her great-great grandchild. She was also survived by her son-in-law, Christobal Montanez and daughters-in-law, Yesenia Cota and Yaritza Lujan. She was a highly skilled machinist and worked for the majority of her life in factories like NCR, Waterpik, and Woodward Governor. She always took pride in her work and supporting her family. In retirement, she moved to Mexico with her husband and built a beautiful home to enjoy her golden years in. She especially loved showing it off in the summers to her grandchildren Ezekiel and Jude. Lucy will be dearly missed by all.
Her viewing will be held at Latina Funerals & Cremation, 3240 S. Federal Blvd, Denver, CO on October 16th from 3:00 to 8:00PM. The rosary will be the following day on October 17th at 11AM, followed by mass and a graveside service.
