Maria Cruzita Segura, aka "Sister", born on May 7, 1964, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023, while surrounded by family and friends. Maria was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Segura; brothers, Geno, Stevie, Johnny, Clyde, and Rudy Segura.
She is survived by her daughter Charlene Ramirez (Kevin), son Brandon McNeely; grandchildren Mateo, Mario, Makayla and bonus granddaughter, Salise; father, Cruz Segura; brothers, Ronald (Diane), and Donald (Bonnie); sisters, Henrietta "Soupy" Montoya (Steve), Grace Rivera (Daniel); dear friend/Soul Sister, Cathy Shook; dear cousin, Debbie Montoya; former husband, Chuck McNeely, and several loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
Maria loved the outdoors and always looked forward to going fishing, camping, and riding her motorcycle. She loved her fur-babies, scary movies, and a good celebration. But, she could never pick a favorite song because she loved "every" song.
Maria will always be remembered as a fun, loving, giving person who left her mark in everyone's heart; someone who always went above and beyond for everyone. Many thought of her, not only as a friend, but as family, and considered themselves blessed to have many great memories with her.

A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, from 8:00 – 9:00 am followed by a Mass from 9:00 – 10:00 am at The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St., NW. Reception to follow at the American Legion Post 69, 9000 4th St., NW.
