I met Mark in 2014 when I became the PACS admin at Milton hospital. We quickly became friends. We would both commiserate over some of the most baffling and often times idiotic decisions that our leadership team made. We were pretty vocal too!! We must´ve sounded like two old crows crying into the wind because not a soul listened to us!
But, what I realized was that Mark was always seeking to be better, to be creative. He always had ideas despite them being knocked down from the powers that be. He was ever determined and endured when others would have thrown in the towel. Even I did. But when the time came, when it was just right, he made his move to something bigger, better, and more impactful.
Not only was he good at his job, but he was a great friend too. Imperfect, like we all are. He was devoted to his family as he loved his daughter, he would always tell me about the things she was up to in her life and you could tell that he was proud.
I am so very saddened to hear that he is at rest, but I´m glad that I was able to meet him, work alongside him, and call him my friend.
Rest well, Mark!

So sorry, Erin, for your loss. I remember the pride your dad took in hearing you sing. We have thought of you, often.
