Melba Jean Crouch

Melba Jean (Smith) Crouch, age 88, of Signature Health Care of Fentress County and a former resident of Byrdstown, TN passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born April 1, 1931 in Monroe, TN to Tom Allen Smith and Kizzie (Garrett) Smith. She was a member and when her health allowed, attended the Star Point Church of Christ. She was a homemaker. past Byrdstown Head Start employee and child care provider..
Melba is survived by her Daughter: Catherine Gunter and Husband: Rick; (1) Granddaughter: Brandy Gunter; (2) Sisters: Betty Mossey and Inez Dunn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents: Tom Allen Smith and Kizzie Smith, Her First Husband: Thomas Crouch "T.W."; Her Second Husband: Earl Garrett; (4) Sisters: Dorothy Miller, Veachel Baumgardener, Willa Flo Smith and Ruby Smith; (5) Brothers: Thurman Smith, Chastin Smith, Kermit Smith, Theron Smith and Billy Glenn Smith,.
Private Graveside Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the Green Acres Memorial Gardens in Crossville, TN. Burial was in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens.There was no Visitation
