Michael Krzak Obituary

Michael lived his life for others. He was proud and honored to help families in a time of need. But above all, he was an amazing husband and a wonderful and accepting father. He found peace and true joy in fishing, cycling, and grilling. He is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Beloved husband of 21 years to Nicole; loving father to Louis and Faith; cherished son of Andrea Krzak and the late James Krzak; dear brother to the late Christopher (Samantha) Krzak, James (Jennifer) Krzak, Kelly (Jeffrey) Golich and Steven Krzak. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews, and his canine companions and pride and joy, Floyd and Gus.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at River Forest Country Club, 15W468 Grand Avenue, Elmhurst. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be written to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and/or the Illinois Lawyers' Assistance Program.

Even though it´s been a little while
since Mike´s passing, it still seems surreal. He was a wonderful husband to Nicole and dedicated father to Louis and Faith and loyal companion to his canine companions Gus and Floyd. Mike was a generous and kind neighbor who quickly became a friend who shared his delicious barbecue and fishing stories with us. Our hearts go out to his family. We will miss him.

Mike was a great friend and a neighbor. He went out of his way to make those around him feel comfortable and welcomed. He liked to find out what you cared about and then revolve an entire conversation around your interests, with wit, self-effacing humor and charm. I loved hearing about his latest adventures with Nicole and his daughters. That was always his favorite subject.

Mike, though we were colleagues, I also considered you a friend. I will miss our conversations and hearing about your family whom you always spoke about with such love and passion. You always had a positive attitude and were striving for the next goal with a smile on your face. Your bright positive energy was felt by all around you. The world is a better place because of you.
