Mildred Fauscette

Mildred Fauscette, age 94, of Cohutta, GA passed away on September 20, 2023 at Hamilton Medical Center with her son and daughter at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Fauscette and her parents Jackson and Minnie Whaley of Cohutta, GA.
Mildred had a great sense of humor and a generous and loving heart. To know her, was to love her. She was known for her special hugs. If you spent any time at all with her, you would not be allowed to leave without a hug. And you would be all the better for it.
She and J.T. had 2 children, Ron Fauscette of Pensacola, FL and Carmen Fergason of Ooltewah, TN. She was blessed with five grandchildren: Tanya (Eddie) Brooker, Marc Middleton, Erick (Kateryna) Fauscette, Jennifer Fauscette and Teresa (Rodney) Vice, and three great-grandchildren: Blake Brooker, Ben Brooker and Elise Middleton. She is also survived by her sister Wanda Tibbs and two sisters-in-law, Peggy Whaley and Sue (Hoyt) Smith, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 30th at 3:00 pm at Cohutta First Baptist Church in Cohutta, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30th from 1:30 pm until the Memorial service at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cohutta First Baptist Church.
