Luke Dunn Callaway

Luke Dunn Callaway, age 74, of Ringgold, Georgia, exited this earthly world into his eternal abode on October 30, 2025. Luke was reared in and a member of Ringgold First Baptist Church. He placed his faith in the finished work of Christ at a young age, and the family appreciated him as their prayer warrior. Luke's faith was evidenced in the way he lived and the way he treated others.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Harry Dunn Callaway and Rosa Crawford Callaway, and his older brother, Mike K. Callaway. Grieving the loss are his siblings: Helen (LeBron) Holbrook of Mentone, Alabama; Jane (Sam) Bustabad of Rocky Face, Georgia; and his twin brother, Mark R. Callaway of Ringgold. Nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will also miss him.
Luke was a 1969 graduate of Ringgold High School and a 1976 graduate of Georgia College with a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology. He worked as a beef cattle and hay farmer.
A graveside service will be held at Dunagan Cemetery in Whitfield County on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Eric Kennedy officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Christ's Chapel, Inman Street, Ringgold or your favorite charity.
