Rick Worley

Richard "Rick" Worley, 59, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Rick was born in Fort Oglethorpe, GA on March 31st, 1966, a son of Alvin and Pat Worley. He was a 1984 graduate of Ringgold High School and a graduate Vale Tech in Pennsylvania for Auto Estimation Program. He has owned and operated Rick Worley and Son in Ringgold for the past 32 years. Rick started working in the family business with his father more than 40 years ago. Rick was one of the biggest fans of the Georgia Bulldogs (Go Dawgs!). Rick sponsored the Ringgold High School Athletic Program and had also helped sponsor the Graysville Elementary children.

He was preceded in death by a loving son, Hunter Worley; sister, Kimberly Worley; grandparents, Carl and Ruth Worley, George and Louise Arnold; aunts, Marty Gibson, Ruby Bonar, Carol Venable and Elaine Worley; uncles, Junior Chambers, Hershal Worley and Bob Arnold; cousins, Sherry Kencth, Julie Heilwagon and Robby McNeese.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Jenna (Bobby) Worley; son, River Worley; loving parents, Alvin and Pat Worley; brother, Mike (Gayle) Worley; nephew, Mitch Worley; niece, Bree Worley; very best fur buddy, Oreo; special friend, Mindy and Millie Richardson; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Rhonda Mason who was like a sister to him; several other friends and family also survive.

A service to celebrate the life of Ricky Worley will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at the Ringgold United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Moore officiating. Active pallbearers will be Terry Chambers, Clay Kissner, Lee Mashburn, Chuck Gass, Mitch Worley, Raymond Williams, Bobby Pardue and Brent Jeno. Employees of Rick Worley and Son will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Sunday and 12-2 PM Monday at the Ringgold United Methodist Church.
