Jeanette Wilson Dupree of Ringgold arrived home to her Lord and Savior on October 6, 2025 at the age of eighty-six. Jeanette was born on March 26, 1939 to the late Mary and Woodrow Wilson of Robbinsville, North Carolina. She was a graduate of Valley Point High School where she graduated with honors. In 1956 she married the love of her life, Raymond W. Dupree. During her sixty years of marriage she spent her time honoring and raising their three children, building a successful business with State Farm Insurance and traveling. Jeanette found true joy working and interacting with their customers. As the matriarch, she enjoyed caring for her family by cooking and making her house a home to anyone who entered.

She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe. She loved her church where she faithfully served as a deacon and was a member of the Miriam Sunday School class. To know her was to be loved by her. She was a true light and wonderful example of a good and faithful servant. She will forever be remembered for her kindness, humor, compassion, and unwavering faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary E. Smith and Woodrow L. Wilson, her loving husband Raymond W. Dupree, her sister Clara Amos, brother James L. Smith, and granddaughters, Sara Gillespie and Lindsay Howard.

Those left to cherish her memory, her children, Sonya Howard (Michael),Bryan Dupree, Vanessa Grell (Stanley); grandchildren, Hannah Swain (Matthew), Noah, Ava, and Alexa Grell; great grandchildren, Briley Cropper, Callie Howard, Levi, Gabriel and Benjamin Swain.

Family will receive friends at First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 10 AM until 1 PM with service at 1 PM. The officiating pastor will be Patrick Everett. Internment following at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
