It is with profound sadness that the family of Kade Michael Dupree announces his sudden and tragic passing on September 3, 2025, at the age of 29. Born on September 20, 1995, and a lifelong resident of Plaquemine, LA. Kade was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed being outdoors, working in his grandfather's shop, and spending time with his beloved boston terrier, Rueben. Kade is survived by his lifelong partner, Ashley Thibodeaux; grandfather, Donald Dupree; father, Randy Mendoza; siblings, Brennon Mendoza, Kristian Mendoza Franklin (Logan) and Haylie Mendoza; grandfathers, Randy "Saint" Sanchez, Gary Mendoza, and Douglas O'Neal; aunts and uncles, Holly Dupree Sanchez (Donnie), Lisa Dupree Hewitt (Jason), Todd Dupree (Cassie), Roberto Sanchez (Becca), Heather Carnley (Jamie), Becky Matirne (Chris), Harry Sanchez, Chancey Gregory (Kenneth), Savannah Dempster (Rivest), Randi Sanchez, Raegan Mendoza, and Rory Mendoza; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Preceded in death by his mother, Kim Dupree; grandmothers, Sue Medlen Dupree O'Neal and Nannette Mendoza; sister, Makaylin Mendoza; and niece, Violet Rose Franklin. A memorial service will be held at a later date and Kade will be laid to rest with his mother at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Wilbert Funeral Home to help with funeral cost. Kade will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those that held him dear. He lived life with a free spirit and a big heart that touched everyone he met.
