GOD'S GRACE IN THE LIFE OF LAUREN
Lauren Rae Dupree was called home to glory on October 6, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, sister, niece and cousin and loved her family with all her heart. She was preceded in death by her fraternal grandparents, Ernest and Pernie Dupree, by her maternal grandparents, John Clark and Nancy Duncan, and her cousin, Jennifer Ransom Ormsby. She is survived by her parents, Rodney and Becky Dupree, her brother, Clayton (Mary) Depree, her uncle and aunt, Sidney and Debbie Queen, Aunt Veta Hall, and many cousins. For many years the family celebrated birthdays and holidays together rejoicing in the gift of family from our Lord.
She was born on August 2, 1983, on the birthday of her mother in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was raised around the church from birth. She was baptized into the Christian faith at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on October 29, 1989. She was confirmed on May 18, 1997 as she gave testimony of her faith before the Lord and God's people at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She also attended The Lutheran School where she was taught the message of grace in Christ up through the 6th grade. From there, Lauren attended GPS and graduated from Gordon Lee High School. She went on to study public relations where she received her degree from Georgia Southern University. She was blessed by God as she was successful in her field.
In her adult years, she appreciated so many gifts from the Lord. She loved traveling to different countries to behold some of the wonders of God's creation. She adored animals and she had a beloved dog, Willa. She loved the outdoors and loved bicycling. She loved people, just socializing and beholding God's wondrous love through his children. She now stands in glory in the presence of our Lord with all the saints that have passed before us. One day, the Lord will wipe away all our tears as all of his children will join each other in glory in the world to come.
