Milton Wildes Obituary

Published by Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home & Crematory on Mar. 27, 2010.
Nottingham - Milton G. Wildes Sr., 73, of Stage Road, died peacefully March 26, 2010 at his home in Nottingham.

Born June 14, 1936 in Cape Porpoise, ME, he was the son of the late Chester and Thelma (Welch) Wildes. He was raised in Cape Porpoise where he attended high school. He served in the US Army in the 50’s.

Milton met and married the love of his life, the late Judith (Lewis) who predeceased him in 2004. Together they raised a large family and moved to Nottingham in 1976.

“Hobo” known to many, had a passion for big rigs. Driving was all he wanted, to earn his keep. The family would like to give a big thank you to Granite State Minerals and Peter Osborne Trucking.

Milton was also predeceased by daughters, Debera and Terry.

Survivors include five children, Timothy Wildes & wife Susan of Epping, Milton Wildes Jr. and Gail of Newmarket, Penny Edgerly and husband Richard of Newmarket, Karen Wildes of Nottingham, Tammy Peno and husband Richard of Strafford; four sisters, Marilyn Mosher and Margaret Pierce of Kennebunk, Marion Berry of New York, and Rachel Collins of Saco; 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. We will deeply miss the greatest and gentle person we know as Dad, grandpa and brother.

The family will receive friends at their home at 175 Stage Road, Nottingham on Saturday, April 3, 2010 beginning at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc, 249 Canal St., Manchester, NH 03101.
