Nicholas James "Niko" Perazza

Nicholas (Niko) Perazza passed away in Naples, Florida on January 9, 2025 at the age of 18. He is the beloved son of Michael C. Perazza and Kari Krueger Perazza and dear brother of Michael W. and Matthew Perazza. Niko is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Leo D. Perazza. He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Marilyn Perazza and his maternal grandparents, William and Mary Krueger. Niko is the nephew of David and Meaghan (Cain) Perazza and Todd and Kristen (Krueger) Aston and cousin to Gianna, Andrew and Annie Perazza, and Ema and Will Aston. You will never find a stronger supporter of his brothers, his family and his faith.
Niko was larger than life - not only physically standing at 6'5", but also with his gigantic heart and naturally enormous sense of humor. He always thought of others before himself and was a friend to all he met. Niko was very athletic and always active. He had a strong arm for baseball and could shoot the lights out in basketball. As an avid Detroit sports fan, one would find him diligently rooting for his Lions, Tigers and Michigan State Spartans regardless of their records. Niko also loved spending time with family and friends on Lake Voorheis in the summer - driving the boat and tubing.
Niko was diagnosed with a rare heart condition two years ago, but he continued to live without fear and with determination, humor, love and faith in our Lord. Niko lived life showing everyone that the only thing guaranteed is right now - so be kind to everyone and live every day to your fullest God-given potential.
Family and friends will gather at Christ the Redeemer on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10am until the Funeral Mass at 11am.
