Pat worked at a number of jobs and then trained in food services in Eau Claire before working at the St Croix Casino in Turtle Lake for twenty years. She enjoyed traveling in Wisconsin, spending time with the grand kids, and occasional camping trips. She especially enjoyed trips to Duluth to watch and photograph ships entering and leaving the harbor and visits to the Rose Garden.
Pat is survived by her husband: David Nerling; sons: Allen (Carla) Held, Kerry Held; step children: Tom (Amber) Nerling, Kristina Nerling; grandchildren: Laura, Anna, Emily, and Ethan Held, David, and Emma Nerling; sisters: Rachel, Jeanette, Stacey, and Laura; brothers: Mark and Larry; life-long friend: Wealthy Stone and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Rodney and Elsie Ogren; brothers: Rodney, Mike, George, Bruce, and Brian; and sister: Cathy.
Funeral Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Almena with Pastor William Brassow officiating on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11 AM with visitation at the church at 10 AM.
