Paul Draper Obituary
Paul graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1957 and later attended Ferris State University. During his time in college, he met the love of his life, Shirliann, and they were married on June 25, 1960. Paul worked at various architectural design firms in and around Kalamazoo designing schools, business buildings and sports facilities. Paul was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, softball, and a myriad of other activities.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Royce, David, Charles, and Donna. He is survived by his wife Shirliann as well as his sons, Robert Louis Draper and Warren Allen (Rebecca) Draper; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life is being planned for later in the spring of 2022. In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations to be made to either Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org) or Folds of Honor Foundation (foldsofhonor.org).
