Paul E. Taylor, age 81, of London, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
He leaves behind his son, Jeffrey Scott Taylor of London, KY; two grandchildren, Jacob Emmanuel Taylor & fiancé Chelsea Tackett, Ella Evelyn Taylor; one great grandchild, Copelyn Taylor; two nieces, Rosemary Tuttle, Janet Hensley; his close friend, Billy Cheek; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Taylor; his parents, Emanuel & Theresa Tuttle Taylor; his son, Brian Taylor; two siblings, Sibyl Jones, Vera Mae Tuttle; and by his niece, Judy Hutton.
Paul enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially cheering on his Kentucky Wildcats. He was proud to serve in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was an enthusiastic traveler, and had recently made a nostalgic visit to Washington, D.C. He loved boating on Laurel Lake and had a tan anyone would envy. In his later years, bingo, mowing and a good chew were all it took to bring it all to his face. However, his pride, joy and greatest treasure were his grandchildren and great granddaughter.
A graveside service for Paul E. Taylor will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Blackwater, Kentucky. Military honors will be provided by the local DAV Chapter 158 of Keavy, Kentucky. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
