Ralph Edwards

Ralph Edwards, age 84, of London, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025. He was born on July 27, 1941 to the late Robert Clyde Edwards and Fannie Edwards. He was united in marriage to Lois Thompson on April 12, 1958 who survives.
He leaves behind three children, Sherry Watkins (Jimmy), Karen Steely (Allan), Donna Edwards (Jerome Word), all of London, KY; nine grandchildren, Scott Robinson, Tara Moore (Andrew), Chase Mosko, Trevor Mosko (Kassandra), Aubrey Watkins, Zachary Steely, Micah Steely, Noah Steely, Gabriel Steely; ten great grandchildren, Jacob Robinson, Stetson Moore, Hendrix Moore, Dawson Moore, Presley Watkins, Liam Mosko, Kayce Mosko, Kaleb Barton, Paelyn Barton, Abagil Barton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Edwards; one sibling, Kelly Carl Edwards; and by his grandparents, Andy Edwards, Rhoda Edwards, Nettie Kelly, Coney Kelly.
Ralph was a self-employed certified auto mechanic and a man of many talents. He had a heart full of curiosity and care. He enjoyed studying the Bible and living by its teachings, and his faith guided him in both his work and his relationships.
A gifted craftsman, Ralph found joy in carpentry and masonry, as well as in whittling and creating something new out of the old. He had a mechanical mind and a creative spirit, able to fix or build just about anything he set his hands to. Ralph also loved gardening, taking pride in watching things grow under his care.
Family was always at the center of his life. He deeply loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, capturing many of those special moments through his love of photography.
Ralph will be remembered for his steady hands, sharp mind, and kind heart - a man who built, repaired, and grew things not just in the world around him, but in the lives of all who knew him.
A funeral service honoring Ralph Edwards will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Allan Steely officiating. Interment will follow at A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Thursday beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the service hour, also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
