Teresa Lynn Buttery

Teresa Lynn Buttery, age 59, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
She leaves behind her mother, Judy Bowling; her son, Joseph Buttery; three siblings, Charlene Woods, Mike Bowling, Arthur Bowling & wife Sharlene; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Buttery; her father, Charlie Bowling; and by her son, Jacob Buttery.
Teresa was a loving woman who cherished her family deeply, especially her beloved son. She worked when she was able to and always did her best to care for those around her. Teresa enjoyed spending time outdoors and found peace and joy in the simple beauty of nature. She was of the Christian faith and carried her faith quietly but sincerely throughout her life.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love for her family, and the gentle strength she showed through life's challenges.
A funeral service honoring Teresa Lynn Buttery will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Arthur Bowling Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at East Salem Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the service hour, also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
