Ron was born August 1, 1944, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Dalton and Harriet (West) McDaniel. He married the love of his life Ruth Riegle on June 11, 1966. In his youth, Ron was a skilled speed skater, winning championships with his agility. Beyond his work and hobbies, Ron found immense joy in spending time with his family. He shared countless cherished moments with them, from camping trips at Port Huron to adventures at Padre Island in Texas. Throughout his life, Ron dedicated many years to his work in the petrol industry, retiring from Marathon Petroleum in 2006 as a utility man. A man of simple pleasures, Ron could often be found tending to his lawn, watching classic cowboy films, or sharing stories with loved ones. His genuine love and care for his family will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Surviving are: Children: Tim (Laura) McDaniel, Kevin (Angel) McDaniel, Jennifer (Brian) Kitchen, and Stacey Csintyan; Grandchildren: Tim (Jordan) McDaniel, Colleen (Lance) Graham, Allison (Garrett) Yesue, Paige McDaniel, Katie Kitchen, Colin Csintyan, Blair McDaniel, Trevor Kitchen, Jacob Csintyan, Tyler Csintyan; He was blessed with 10 great grandchildren; Brothers: Robert (DeAn) McDaniel, and Roger McDaniel; Several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth McDaniel, Brother, Richard McDaniel, and Sister, Delores Kolinski.
