Born on April 9, 1948, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Kaizer) Madden. Barbara married Ronald Marzi on February 5, 1966, and together they built a warm and loving home. More than anything, Barbara found joy in being surrounded by her family. She had a remarkable gift for bringing people together and creating a space filled with laughter and love. She enjoyed painting ceramics and basket weaving. Barb liked a good fishing trip and enjoyed the simple things in life. Her big heart and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Surviving are: Children: Stephen (Dodie) Marzi, Mike (Jamie) Marzi and Candace (Michael) Rinks; Grandchildren: Desmond (Megan) Stevens, Travis Stevens, Jordan Marzi (Austin Hendrix), Michael Marzi, Elizabeth (Brett) Courts, Colton Marzi, Luke Marzi, Maddison Rinks and great grandchildren; Siblings: Maureen Gilbert, Patrick (Kimberly) Madden, Todd Madden; Sister-In-Law, Sandra Marzi; many nieces and nephews; Good friend Mo McPherson. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Ronald Marzi; Daughter, Stephanie Marzi; Nephew, Ryan Gilbert; Brothers: Pete Madden and Joseph Madden; Brother-In-Law, Ron Gilbert; Sister-In-Law, Dolores Brooks; Mother and Father in law, Stephen and Mary Marzi. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Serenity Assisted Living for all care and compassion that Barbara received..
