Rosemarie Jelaine Conard, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on April 14, 1940, in Wisconsin to the late Eli and Laura (LaCrosse) Engebose. Rosemarie married the love of her life Florian Conard Jr and dedicated her life to raising her family and caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing home setting.
Rosemarie was known for her love of canning. She found joy in sipping a cold beer with her grandchildren, sharing laughs and special moments. Watching all-star wrestling was a favorite pastime of hers. Her family held a special place in her heart, especially her cherished grandchildren, who brought light and laughter into her life. Rosemarie enjoyed listening to polka music and often treated herself to her favorite meals by going out to eat.
Rosemarie is survived by her children, Sue Kinnard, Michael Florian Conard, Jerome Joseph Elias Conard; 9 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; Many step-great-grandchildren; Sisters-in-law Marie Engebose, Clara Engebose, Barbara Paul, Theresa Annoye, Mary Ann Conard; Brothers-in-law Alphonse (Candy) Conard, Leonard (Faye) Conard; Buddy the dog; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Florian Conard Jr.; daughter, Michelle Delarwelle; parents, Eli & Laura Engebose; son-in-law, Wayne Kinnard; father- and mother-in-law, Florian Sr. & Anna Conard, as well as by brothers- and sisters-in-law.
A celebration of Rosemarie's life will take place at Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services in Casco on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. The visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 pm, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 pm to honor and remember the wonderful memories shared with Rosemarie. Burial will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Hubert Cemetery in Rosiere. Online condolence messages may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
