Ruth Ann Cooksey, 81, of Zionsville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024. Born in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late R. Nelson and Katherine Keller Cooksey. Ruth Ann was a proud alum of Harry A Wood High School and an active member of the Kenwood Avenue, Kingsley Drive communities and active in the North United Method Church faith community before moving full time to Hoosier Village (Zionsville) in early 1984.
Ruth Ann is survived by her Niece D. Kay Cooksey and Nephews Kurt Cassel, Scott Cassel, Brent Cassel, and Charles Cooksey. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jane Cassel and brother Robert Cooksey.
