Ruthell Gibbins

Ruthell "Ruth" (Swindell) Gibbins, a Coalgate resident, was born on August 4, 1939, to Luther Cecil and Matilda "Tillie" (Hill) Swindell, at Idabel, Oklahoma. She passed away on March 1, 2024 at Ada, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 26 days. Ruthell attended school at Farris. She was a home maker. Ruthell married Cecil Ray Gibbins on July 17, 1956, at Atoka, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Coalgate, Oklahoma. Ruthell owned and operated the Chuck Wagon Café. She was known for her chocolate and coconut pies.
