Sandra Oslund Obituary
Christmas was always Mom and Dad's favorite holiday with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. It was no surprise that Mom chose Christmas Eve to leave her family and spend it with dad in heaven after 6 years apart is truly a Hallmark worthy movie. While we are saddened to see Mom leave, we find peace in the fact that she reunited with the love of her life that she so dearly missed. We love you Mom and may you now rest in peace. We will cherish every minute and memory that you have blessed us with.
Sandy was born in Sycamore, IL on 2/20/1939. Married the love of her life, Clifford on 6/29/1957 until Dad's death on 2/16/2016. She worked at Bergner's for many years until her retirement. She loved to crochet blankets for all her grandchildren and made afghans for friends and family. Mom and Dad spent most of their summer vacations at Balsam Lake Wisconsin with many dear friends.
Survived by children, Diana (Tim) Branney and Michael (Wanda) Oslund. Grandchildren, Sara (Adam) Gruszczynski, Tanya (Andy) Pirrello, Stacy (Nicholas) McClintock, and Eric (Courtney) Oslund. Ten great grandchildren Samantha, Makenzie, Liam, Emily, Leah, Olivia, Molly, Taegan, Keaton, and Hadley. Many Nieces and Nephews, sister Diane Larsen, and sister in laws, Sharon Kern and Becky Bader.
A special thanks to OSF Hospice for all their love, kindness and care of Mom during her final months.
Visitation 12/30/2022 3:00- 5:00 pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home Mulford Chapel with a brief service following. Private burial at later date. In leu of flowers, memorials to OSF Hospice.

Dear Oslund family,
I´m sadden to hear of Sandy´s passing, I enjoyed our friendship over the years she lived at Heritage Woods, she was a friend to everyone she met, such a sweet loving lady.
