Shawnie "Panda" Adams, 29, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
A funeral service to honor Shawnie’s life will be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 2nd at Munden Funeral Home in Havelock, officiated by Deacon Wally Calabrese. The family will receive friends following the service. For those unable to attend, the service can be viewed through her obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website. The service will remain on the Funeral Home website for 90 days.
Shawnie was born on Independence Day, July 4, 1994, in Okinawa, Japan. Her love for crafting and handiwork was a reflection of her vibrant spirit and innovative mind. She found joy in simple pleasures like playing board games and video games.
More than anything, Shawnie was a loving daughter, supportive sister, and proud aunt who loved her family fiercely.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her companion, Dalton Jones, whom she loved to the end; her parents, Troy and Ella Adams; sisters, Teresa George and husband Randall of Massachusetts and Josephine "Josie" Howell and husband Derek of Delaware; grandparents, Charlene Adams of Mississippi, Glenda Hogg and companion Stanley Magness of Kansas, and Ciricco Abella of the Philippines; and her loving cats, Loralie and Nix.
Shawnie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Troy D. Adams and Erlinda Abella.
