Susan Keller, a vibrant spirit born on December 26, 1953, in Indianapolis, passed away peacefully in her hometown on January 31, 2025. Known for her fun-loving and rowdy personality, Susan indeed never met a stranger, greeting every new encounter with warmth and enthusiasm.
Throughout her life, Susan cultivated her passions, finding immense joy in tending to her beloved plants and nurturing her extensive collection of porcelain dolls. Music was another significant part of her life, often serving as the soundtrack to her joyful moments and cherished memories.
Among her proudest accomplishments was her role as a school traffic guard, where her dedication earned her a medal for helping children navigate safely to and from school. Above all, Susan cherished her son, Joseph Keller, and their bond was a source of profound pride and joy for her. she is also survived by her uncle Billy Joe Lambert, and her cousin Vickie Bridges.
Her son Jerry McCloud, Though her parents Elbert and Effie (Lambert) McCloud, and her sister, Sheridan Cartwright, preceded her in death, Susan leaves behind the vibrant legacy of her love and laughter. She is survived by her son, Joseph Keller, and her niece, Melissa Maginty, who will continue to carry forward the warmth and spirit she shared with all who knew her.
A celebration of Susan's life will echo her spirited personality, reminding us of the connections she fostered and the joy she spread. As we reflect on her life, we will remember a woman who lived fully, loved deeply, and brightened the lives of those around her.
