Deborah Ann (Hampton) Jack, 74, of Zionsville, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2025. She was born on February 16, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio. Her last weeks were spent surrounded by family and friends. She took comfort in knowing her death was not the end. She fought the good fight. She finished the race. She kept the faith.
Debbie could make any ordinary occasion a special one. She never forgot birthdays or anniversaries. She would spend hours making homemade baked goods for her children and grandchildren to enjoy. Sweet rolls, Christmas bread, "Grandma bread" (bran bread), and "Grandma jelly" (strawberry jelly) were among the many treats we all looked forward to.
Debbie's life was enriched by her many friends. These friends included neighbors, co-workers from Honeywell (where she had retired after 23 years), and the Anytime Angels just to name a few.
Debbie loved being outside. She loved camping with her family every fall, hiking at Turkey Run, and riding her bike through the neighborhood. Debbie often could be found sitting on her front porch just enjoying the day.
Debbie was beloved by, and is survived by, her children Nancy Collier (Justin), Sharon Gall (Andy), and David Jack (Stephanie); her grandchildren Alex Gall, Elise Gall, Chloe Gall, Cooper Jack, and Tucker Jack; her bonus grandchildren Sophie Collier, Jakob Collier, Caitlin Collier, and Tyler Wiegand; and her siblings Michael Hampton (Jill) and Diane Kellogg (Howard). She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mary Lou Hampton.
We will celebrate Debbie's life at New Hope Christian Church, 5780 S Main St, Whitestown, IN 46075 on Friday, November 7, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and a service to follow at noon. Burial to be held in advance. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Deborah, please visit our floral store.
