Tommy Lee Tedder, 46, Rogersville, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Cox South Medical Center, Springfield.
He was born in May 15, 1978 in Searcy, Arkansas, the son of the late Evert M. and Rebeca P. (Davey) Tedder.
Tommy was a loving and deeply devoted father, husband, and friend. He graduated from Judsonia School District in 1996 then eventually furthered his education in computer science.
As a younger adult, Tommy devoted all of his spare time to being a Youth Group leader for several churches and volunteered at multiple horse rescues. In his early 20s, he became a foster parent. He took in and helped dozens of kids over the course of a decade.
In 2011, Tommy started with O'Reilly Auto Parts and continued to touch the lives of everyone he talked to in his 13 and a half years with the company. He loved to go floating and camping with family during the spring and summer. He was always the first to offer help and would give a complete stranger the shirt off his back if they asked. While he had the largest heart, Tommy was always the first to stir the pot and be ornery or start the day with a dad joke. He loved to make those around him smile and laugh as much as possible. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie, a son, Landin Tedder, three daughters, Kathleen, Aryaunna Childers, and Maggie Tedder; a brother, Billy Tedder and his wife Gina; a sister, Tracy Tedder; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Friday, February 7, 2025 with a celebration of life service following at 6:00 pm, at J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville.
Memorial donations may be made the charity of the donor's choice.
